Phos Zero

Designed to effectively remove phosphates from pool water. It is not an algaecide, so it will not kill algae. The main causes of algae growth in a pool are a lack of disinfectant or the presence of phosphates. If your disinfectant level is adequate (1 to 3 ppm) and the presence of algae persists, it is likely that the phosphate level is too high (over 300ppb). Research has shown that phosphates are the main source of algae growth and that algae feed on them. If you only kill the algae, the phosphates that they have absorbed will then be released back into your pool water. Phos Zero is the solution to stop phosphates.
