Drain plug with gasket - Jacuzzi/Carvin

Replacement drain plug for the Jacuzzi/Carvin 85826300R filter, supplied with its gasket. This is the part that closes the drain opening at the bottom of the filter tank—the one you remove to empty the filter for winterization and put back in the spring.

When to replace it

If your filter seeps or drips from the bottom, the culprit is almost always the plug gasket: the rubber hardens and cracks after a few seasons of freezing temperatures and chemical exposure. The plug and gasket are sold together here, so you can fix the problem in one go.

Installation: Hand-tighten until the gasket makes contact, then turn a quarter turn. Do not tighten with a wrench—the plastic threads may split.
