Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about pool opening and closing.
When should I have my pool opened?

Ideally, have your pool opened when the outdoor temperature regularly reaches 15°C or more, generally between mid-April and mid-May in the Gatineau-Ottawa region. The longer you wait, the harder the cleaning will be.

When should I close my pool for the winter?

Closing is usually done between mid-September and the end of October, when the water temperature consistently drops below 15°C. Closing too early can encourage algae growth, and too late exposes your equipment to freezing.

How much does a pool opening or closing cost?

The price varies depending on the size of your pool, the type of equipment and your location. Contact us for a free quote tailored to your situation.

Do you serve Ottawa and the surrounding area?

Yes! We serve Gatineau, Ottawa, the entire Outaouais, Rockland, Cumberland and the Petite-Nation. Contact us to confirm that your area is covered.

Do you also offer pool and spa repair?

Yes! In addition to openings and closings, we offer pool repair services (fiberglass, concrete, vinyl) and spa repair (all brands). See all our services.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance, especially at the beginning and end of the season, as spots fill up quickly.
