SpaEase 200 Spa Cover Lifter

The SpaEase 200 cover lifter is the only model in its range to assist you both opening and closing the cover. Its reverse pneumatic technology (RPT) smoothly guides the cover: release it halfway and it opens on its own, without jerking. When closing, the pistons apply downward pressure that ensures the cover seals against the spa rim — better heat retention, less energy loss.

Features

• Opening and closing assistance thanks to gas pistons (RPT)
• Corrosion-resistant aluminum construction, with steel pivot arms that protect the assembly against wind gusts
• Multi-point piston support: precise adjustment according to the size and weight of your cover
• Finish plate that conceals exposed bolts — no more "DIY" look of low-end cover lifters
• Convertible handle into a towel or robe holder
• Compatible with most traditional spa covers — keep yours
• Scalable: convertible to the VacuSeal system

Compatibility and required clearances

• Spas up to 96 in x 96 in (244 cm x 244 cm)
• Corner radius up to 17 in (radii from 12 to 17 in require the extended support kit, sold separately)
• 7 in (18 cm) clearance at the back of the spa to allow full opening
• Minimum 4 in between the cabinet and the shell rim on built-in spas
• Not suitable for swim spas longer than 216 in (18 ft)

Installation: complete hardware included (screws, bolts, lock nuts, Teflon washers). Allow approximately 1 hour for two people.

Note: the manufacturer recommends against using the cover lifter in high winds.
