Is your Hayward chlorinator leaking from the lid or becoming difficult to close tightly? The O-ring is often to blame. Over time, constant contact with chlorine or bromine tablets causes it to harden, swell, or crack. The CLX110K is the original Hayward part that restores the seal of your lid.

Barracuda maintenance tip: Replace the O-ring as soon as it becomes deformed, cracked, or flattened. Lubricate it lightly with a silicone-based lubricant—never petroleum jelly—each time you open the lid. It will last longer and the lid will screw on more easily.
