2" Waterway Hydropool Diverter Valve Cap

The Hydropool 4525225 replacement cap is the two-piece assembly that covers the 2" Waterway diverter valve mounted on your spa's rim. Over time, sun, chlorine, and repeated handling can dull, crack, or dislodge the original cap. Rather than replacing the entire valve, this cap restores the top seal and gives the spa rim a clean finish.

Compatibility

Designed for the Hydropool 4525086 2" diverter valve assembly. Before ordering, check the diameter of your valve (2", not 1") and compare the existing cap to the photo: Waterway makes several styles of caps that are not interchangeable.

Installation

No tools are required in most cases: remove the handle, unscrew the worn cap, and screw the new one on by hand. Turn off the pump before starting. If your valve leaks from the top rather than through the cap, the stem O-ring usually needs to be replaced—contact us and we will direct you to the correct part.
