Hayward Hydrostream/Hydrosweep 1-1/2" MIP Directional Return Eye – White, Dark Gray, or Black (SP1419)

The Hayward directional return eye is a genuine part that screws into a 1-1/2" female-threaded return fitting (e.g., Hayward SP1023). Its adjustable ball joint directs the jet toward the skimmer or toward the bottom for better circulation and chemical distribution.

Choosing the Right Opening

• Slot (Hydrosweep, SP1419A): wide, flat jet that sweeps the surface toward the skimmer.
• 3/8" and 1/2": narrower, faster jet. Ideal for small pumps or for more return pressure.
• 3/4": the most common size, balanced between flow and speed.
• 1": maximum flow and less backpressure. For powerful pumps or multiple returns.
