O-ring for Hayward CL200/CL220 Chlorinator

Genuine Hayward CLX200K O-ring for the cover of Hayward CL200, CL220, CL220BR, and CL2002S chlorine dispensers (chlorinators).

This seal holds pressurized chlorine gas inside the dispenser. When it hardens, flattens, or cracks, the cover begins to leak—and it's not clean water that comes out, but concentrated chlorine that attacks the piping, fittings, and surrounding equipment. A few-dollar seal replaced in time prevents a repair costing several hundred.

Made of Viton (FKM), not standard rubber. This is what allows it to withstand constant exposure to chlorine and bromine without degrading, unlike generic seals that often harden in a single season.

Maintenance Tip

Lubricate the seal with pool-grade silicone grease every time you open the dispenser, and replace it as soon as it loses its flexibility. Never force the cover shut to compensate for a worn seal—that's how you crack the housing.
