Maintenance

When a part is difficult to replace, proper maintenance is twice as important. Rinse the cartridge with a hose when the pressure exceeds the clean pressure by 8 to 10 psi, and soak it in a degreasing solution at the beginning and end of the season. Handle the ends with care—that is where coreless cartridges can become deformed.
