4520044 Hydropool Spa Antimicrobial Filter (PRB75-M / C-4975 / FC-2395M)

Original Hydropool antimicrobial filter cartridge (part 4520044) featuring 75 sq. ft. (7.0 m²) of pleated media treated to prevent the growth of bacteria, mold, and odors. It is the filter for Hydropool Signature self-cleaning spas and swim spas, and the direct replacement for the old part 4520008.

Why the antimicrobial version?

A standard filter traps debris, but its wet media itself becomes a breeding ground for biofilm between cleanings. The antimicrobial treatment inhibits this growth directly in the pleats: the water stays clear longer, filter odors disappear, and your self-cleaning system works less hard.

Compatibility

Hydropool Signature spas and swim spas with a self-cleaning system. Not suitable for the 395 model (30 in. height), which uses a different cartridge.

Maintenance

Rinse the cartridge with a hose every 2 to 4 weeks and perform a degreasing soak every 3 to 4 months. Replace it every 12 to 18 months depending on spa usage. Keeping a second cartridge in rotation doubles the lifespan of both.
